So, I spent most of my Harry Potter fangirling years pretty much sitting on the fence about Hermione's love life, with the exception of knowing that I hated the idea of her and Ron. I haven't read the books in a long time, therefore I don't remember most of what happens. So yeah, I just didn't spend much time looking at your SS/HG since I just wasn't interested.
But then I got curious...
So, Howlingmojo, thanks to you, I am completely and impossibly addicted to SS/HG. I still dabble in other Hermione pairs once in a while, but it's mostly with Severus. I'm hoping to contribute some of my own work to this fandom once my show is hung on Thursday. :-P Now I feel the need to fav your entire gallery.
Anyway, on to the piece itself;
I've always been a huge fan of contrasting lights and darks, and you executed it wonderfully here. I also like how you use different media for coloring. Let's see... colored pencils, markers, pens/ink, and maybe a touch of computer editing...? Excellent work. Hermione's robes are especially excellent. Thank you for sharing your work with dA. You are very talented. :3

First: THANK YOU!! You humble me. It is my aim to inspire and share ideas. Seems like I succeeded fairly well
You know what they say about curiousity! No, not that, I mean that it is good thing to always seek more knowledge. That, essentially is why I am so attracted to the thought of Severus and Hermione together. I've been a shipper for a loooong time, and I can just say: There is so much quality SS/HG art and fic out there! It's almost as if that pair attracts the scientist and level-headed researchers, I mean, I'v seen stories out there that in my opinion, are better written than the canon according to JK.
So if you're into reading moar SS/HG, you're in for a real treat.

I've been a shipper for several years now (since I was like, I dunno, ten?) and I haven't seen fandoms nearly as mature as the SS/HG and Fresme fandoms. When I read my first HoND fanfiction... GAH. I pretty much threw aside all other fandoms to revel in the pure wonder that is well-written fanfiction. I've literally spent the last week acquainting myself with all the SS/HG fanfiction archives I can find. And thanks for the offer for the recommendations, but I'm finding plenty on my own. :-P
And yes, I will fav bomb you. A lot.
