Description Made from an old pocket watch case, bits of old watch parts, wire & a lot of time..

I wanted to create something that looked like an obscure little device of some sort, rather than my normal purely decorative pieces. I wasn't completely sure of the name I should give it.
But this seemed to fit well.
Sadly the little cog at the front broke off (I dropped it!) and so I had to fix it on, so now it's static, which is such a shame, since it turned the cogs underneath.

It is pieces like this that make me believe there is still mystery out in the world somewhere. Within reach, but untouchable.

Wow, I couldn't imagine how long this took (or how much patience). It's so easy to picture this being around the neck of a steampunk time explorer or perhaps an airship pirate captain!

Excellent work, and I applaud your desire to make something that works (well at least "does something" )
That is basically the philosophy behind my use of gears, I like when the gears do something

Story of my life man... I mean the breaking part. I once managed to include a working watch in one of my pieces and then guess what happened...

It looks really interesting and the craftsmanship is flawless. (Accidents happen.)
