I'll probably take a short break from this series and posing in general after this one. I didn't realize I had been cranking these out on an almost daily basis for the last week, no wonder I'm exhausted. Plus, the feedback I've been getting on these are becoming more and more snarky and nit-picky, as I'm sure you'll see below. I'm getting a little tired of continually having to defend my own headcanon...

have you never heard of bilineal before? it is a way to treat both parties equally, keeping both the last names of the partners (and this is often passed down to children, like a child having a name like Sam Foley-Smith for instance, where Smith is one of the parents and Foley is the other). in this instance, shep and liara obviously chose to keep both of their names when they became bond-mates, so it's John T'soni-Shepard and Dr. Liara T'soni-Shepard

Naming her daughter Benezia, a bit of redemption for the poor matriarch, was a nice touch.

Fandom is hard, I find...even when you talk with a fellow lover of a particular character or IP, the nitpicking sets it and Very Bad Things can happen. Fans need to remember that flexiblity is love.

Well, Liara said on a few occasions in ME3 that she was the Shadow Broker. I played full ME series without DLCs and figured somewhere mid ME3 that she is the Shadow Broker, the very reason I downloaded Lair of the Shadow Broker.
I suggest you try it out, it has some awesome features.

Aw, too bad. The DLC brings a unique experience and a chance to catch up with Liara, also find out who the Shadow Broker really was. In ME3 you get some new dialogues if you have finished that DLC.

Hello, I really do like your headcanon. I just played all 3 Mass Effects not long ago. . . Personally, I think either Male Shepard x Liara T'soni and Female Shepard x Garrus Vakarian are the best two relationships in the series. More so because the personalities mix well the most and the genuity. I guess for this headcanon (first headcanon I have really liked) it would start after the destruction ending? Now all you need is the rest of the crew and a new interesting evil or maybe start another headcanon even more into the future when their kids are grown and a new threat emerges? The creators of the reapers perhaps? Other than that I congradulate your work.

Huggy, if anyone has a problem with your "Post-ME3 series" (what I've come to dub the "Mass Effect Babies" amd "Afterword" series), that's their problem. Mass Effect was designed from the start to be an open universe, and your Mass Effect universe is your own. Not many people have the COURAGE to share their universe with others. Those that do can do so in the form of Fanfiction (such as myself) or art (such as you), or music (or pretty much any other form of creative expression). Those that don't agree with our interpretations are usually closed-minded individuals, those that lack imagination, or (the worst) the rabidly-Anti-ME3-ending group
Your "Post-ME3 series" is how I discovered you, and why I keep coming back (Though I won't hesitate to look at any other ME art you put up!). Don't give up!

I'm sure everyone will understand if you need a break. Just don't get too offended by the head canon nitpickers. Some people will just sling crap for the heck of it. Plus, Considering this is a franchise about choice. So Everyone who's actually played the games shouldn't make that big of a deal about it.

Also this might seem really random but I have a question for you. But have you thought how these characters would have died? Because in my own (synthesis ending) headcanon I've thought up how these characters would die. Just wondering sorry if its a bad question .
