I finished this a few weeks ago, but I couldn't figure out the flavor text for it. I wanted to give Tali a couple of different looks for this one, but to me, she'll always be the mask.Rendered in Source Filmmaker

I just found your artwork, and not only do I think you did an excellent job in the graphic representations, but I also really enjoy the aftermath story and various scenes you created for these characters whom of course we all here have come to cherish.
I'd like to mention that genetics is actually not as difficult an issue as you seem to think (in Joker's case), and that genes are pretty much a simple matter of turning up, down, or completely off. We already have the science to do that, but it's still not fully developed. I highly recommend all sci-fi buffs to subscribe to Kurzweil.net for the latest and greatest cutting edge R&D in all the sciences: biology, genetics, nanotechnology, robotics, bioinformatics, etc. Based on what scientists already know today, there would be no problem whatsoever in resolving Joker's condition in a snap by the years that ME1-3 take place.
I feel I should also note that whether Shepard chose the "Control ending" or the "Synthesis ending" there's really nothing that wouldn't be possible given the technological assist that thousands, if not tens or hundreds of thousands of civilizations, particularly those being tens of millions of years more advanced than the civilizations in the ME3 time period, would afford the civilizations of the ME3 universe. For instance, there would be no problem whatsoever for Shepard to return to his/her friends and loved ones in a biosynthetic body with his original personality using that technology (so no matter the ending, I can easily see how Shepard could come back).
I see that you based your rendition of the Aftermath storyline on the "Destroy ending" which is fine, and what I would've chosen to preserve Shepard, but the loss of EDI made me sad for Joker (and all of them really), so I like your Project Bodhi idea very much
I imagine that the need for continued military campaigns would be necessary due to the remaining cultures (slavers, mercenaries, various illegal activities, the usual...). It would be interesting to see what storylines/plots could be developed for our beloved characters.

Hi and thanks for this nice post! I'm glad you enjoy my Afterword and headcanon series. It was very therapeutic for me to work on them after being so disappointed with the ME3, and I'm happy that so many people appreciate them. I've said all along that my headcanon ultimately leads to the crew just traipsing around the galaxy and a Star Trek: The Next Generation-style adventures.
