Now this was a really fantastic peice of art!I think that to long time gamers, the characters (besides Mario) would bring back memories.Like Crash on PS1, Mega Man on NES & Sonic on Genesis.In this picture, I also noticed that each character had their main weapon, Sonic & his rings, Mega Man & his laser arm, Crash with his bare hands, kinda & Mario with his hammer.The colors are so presice in this picture that it's hard not to see them there!This was a very amazing work of art that I've seen on dA & I've seen ALOT of cool things, but this puts the icing on the cake!Good job on this, and continue making this kind of art for your fans!

That kind of Crash isn't a platform game. I prefer the old PlayStation one Crash Bandicoot. He really was one of the best platformer ever back in the 90's.

STORY TIME:
one day these characters joined to make a team, they became the best
then one day they disappeared
then the security checked the cameras but wasnt very surprised of what he saw:
they started fighting on who should be the leader so mario hit sonic it the face with the hammer, he dies, and sonics
shoe flys into megaman he shoots a charged shot then dies, the charged shot kills crash and then flying wooden face
attacks mario by pushing him of a cliff but mario grabs on to the wooden face and they both die
soooo the winner is the MET

I know, I'd put them but t'was an art trade, so the guy wanted just these. he call this group the "Team Uni-Fighters".

and ryu, if is the one from SF, actually is fighting...
and Spyro is more "action" than platform.
Crash has gone this way too, but on the beginning was one of the best platform games i've played.
