U know this version of Apirl O' Neil in the 1997 0r whatever looks HOT, but the 2009 version of Apirl O' Neil is better though the 2012 version is horrible at everything, know what am saying here?

I understand liking all the versions of April but I dont get why it's the in thing to hate the classic toon version, I think she rocked in her own way.

I think it's because she could be sort of a damsel-in distress many times. That and the yellow jumpsuit, while attractive, is useless.

i like movie april(s) and comics, and i dont mind 2000s (but skinny big headed cg sarah michelle gellar is just bland - im sorry)
but the classic cartoon yellow jumpsuited is THE one that won my heart forever!

She'll always be my favorite, with the movie versions coming in at a close second.
I didnβt mind the CG one but I didnβt really pay attention to her to be perfectly honest, I was too focused on how cute Mikey and Splinter were.
The 2000s one can be a little too hard on Casey for my taste but I try to remember some of us girls get all defensive when we feel attracted to a guy, so it wasnβt totally unrealistic just annoying at times.
All the Mirage comics and the later issues of Archie portrayed April with the perfect balance of strength, bravery, kindness and imperfections.
Though Archie screwed up and made her a brunette, you'd think I wouldn't have minded seeing how I'm a brunette but come on, itβs such a silly thing and they admitted to doing it on purpose. Why did they do it? They didnβt have an answer (rolls eyes).
Remember Next Mutation? No April at all! You'd think she'd have been a shoe-in, since they introduced a female turtle in that series. Give poor April someone to girl-chat with since Irma was long gone by then.

It's more about nostalgia than anything. As good as the 2003 April was, we grew up with the 1987 April (and the movie April), thus causing us to think of her more fondly than the other versions.
