What's a DTA, OTA, and TTA?
DTA stands for 'Draw To Adopt'. The person that wants to adopt the adoptable has to draw something for the person who is giving the adoptable away. Most of the time the adopter will say what they will draw (Ex. 2 headshots, a chibi, a fullbody) and then the person giving the adoptable will tell them who they will draw. (From what I see, the giver will tell the adopter to draw one of their OCs)
OTA stands for 'Offer to Adopt'. The person that wants to adopt the adoptable has to offer something to give to the person who is giving the adoptable away. Offer anything that the giver wants and the adopter gets the adoptable.
TTA stands for 'Trade to Adopt'. The person that wants to adopt the adoptable has to offer the person who is giving the adoptable away another adoptable or a design they made. The giver wants that design and the adoptable gets the adoptable.
My idiot self forgot to include WTA, the one I do. (I'm a idiot. Watashi wa baka. Naneun babo ya. Euh.) WTA stands for 'Write to Adopt'. The person giving the adoptable away will make a form that the adopter has to fill out telling what the adoptable will be like if they get it.

Edit: It is illegal for you to give away your dreamselfy as a TTA or OTA

According to others, you're not supposed to get anything from a dreamselfy adopt. So, yeah, I guess you're not supposed to do TTA and OTA with them.

there's finally an alternative to the atgames search engine! it lets you filter by item type and colour too. i haven't used selfy in years but it may be of use to ppl in the comments.

Hightrade is blocked outside of Japan. However, someone told me it's possible to unblock the website by using proxyjapan.
Someone else also told me that there's a website that has all the items from the original website.

You choose either 2016, 2015, or 2014. Each one will go to a list of a bunch of sets. You choose one by clicking on the set's image and then a list of the set's items will appear. When you got an item you want to use, you right click and select 'open image in new tab.' In the url at the top of the screen, the ending should have '_shop.png' (it showed up for the items I looked at so far) Before that, there should be a 'code'
You copy the code, and then go to the base I gave the link to in the description. Just paste the code where it should be in the url, and go to the new url and the item should be on the base.

Press prtscr button on keyboard (around the top right area) when the dreamselfy is on the screen, go to a paint program, paste, a screenshot of the dreamselfy should so up and you can crop the image so it's just the dreamselfy.
You can use this method to take a screenshot of basically anything.

I cannot use this , i have a laptop but PRTSCR doesn't work for me , it only makes the screen go down .

ok, so the original website with the items has been banned outside of japan due to copyright issues. BUT! there's another website with the items! here - ouroboros.readymade.jp/selfy/g…
you simply choose a set, find the item you want, and right click the picture of the item. press open image in new tab (I'm in chrome, though, so I'm not sure if it's different for other browsers)
in the link, copy the last set of numbers and paste it into the proper space in the base like you would before. it works just fine, but it does take a bit longer. hope this helps ;w;

Just thought you should know it's still illegal if it's sold/traded for goods or services. therefore OTA and TTA is illegal unless another image of it is combined then it isn't affected by copyright.

OTA is a bit legal because you can offer art and specify that you can't offer points or money
TTA is too as long as it's adoptables not money or points
but thats just me view and my knowlege
