The butterfly - The insecurities

I often imagine the insecurities as this beautiful being. But we often hide them, and do not let them show, because you know acting strong is much more valued in our society. It makes me sad, as some times when I feel down, I get ignored or my feelings are just brushed of. So I just hide it, and pretend to be fine. But still it continues to eat me inside for years, that I actually forget where did it come from in the first place.
