I love the mood and atmosphere of this image with all of its dark color tones. Nice color scheme in the background and foreground as well.
There's no over-use of texture and the subtle lighting draws the viewer straight to the middle. As detailed as this image is, there is no confusion. That is what I love most about it!Β
I do wish I knew more context, but paintings that make people think or question anything are always good. Beautiful work here.
