I did this for a friend that was pitching DC a story about Hawkman. They said the character could not support a book on his own..and a few month latter they were anouncing the book. This was done in water color and some gouche.Related content

I love hawk man and hawk girl (mostly because they have wings and wings are awesome) They are my favorite comic book heroes along with Cloak and Dagger

Your friend is very lucky indeed. You may think you are not a master, but I'd say this is professional enough to have on the front cover of a comic book any day. Super composition and your use of colour is simply superb. You have the talent and skills to go far, my friend, no mistake.
