Description
This was an oil I did ,again back in the day, when I was trying to break into comics. I showed some editors and they liked it, but had no power to give me a gig.I was so naive as to think they would fall all over me when I showed it to them. The fact is I never got anything form it and it's been sitting in my closet 10 years. I do recall one crushing blow from Dave McKean when I was at an artist party and we all showed our goods and se said to me in a snotty English accent "Oh, that is that Spawn fellow....them looked away in disgust. I was crushed, but then my good friend reminded me that he started painting that Batman fellow...and all was balanced. Friends are great!Related content

Who cares for the people who THINK they understand art. Only real artist comliment all those with imagination. I could care less for the people who dislike my work or look over it. Even if i could change one persons life with my art, it may change the future. Keep painting, that Spawn is fantastic.
