I used to have an XT600 a few years ago. I thought about changing it for an Africa Twin but ended up going smaller with a CRM250. It feels so light and nimble that it makes me grin whenever I'm on it . The only problem is when I have to ride any distance I can't walk when I arrive!

Nice shot mate, I dont know what to merit the artistic talent or the bike, but either way very nice I take it was some sort of track day or something?!

Photo looks good 'cause it was by a pro (can't find his details - hense no credit). 'Twas a track day at Mallory back in about 01 (before they butchered Gerards and The Esses).

, cool cool. In fact that must be pretty sweet, no potholes, clumsy drivers, speed limits etc etc...
Ever try going off road riding or were/are you track and road rider?

It is pretty good. Not done any for a few years but the best was Cadwell Park in the rain. Had the whole circuit to myself as the sportsbike riders didn't want to go out
Shamefully I've never done any serious offroading, just a few green lanes (and that was on a 600).

Yes, I took great pride in the holes on the side of my boots as well as the metal on the underside of the pegs. It's when the leather rubs off the knee padding is when you have to worry!

Holes in the boots = Big Kudos
The guy I used to spanner for came in a few times complaining that his feet were cold (then wondered what the red stuff dripping out of his boot was ).
Knee down's never been something I worried about on a motard!

No, you would probably be kissing dirt if you tried a knees down!

Indeed they are! Most of my relatives ride bikes to work because in Malaysia... it's the best way of getting by traffic.

Indeed it is, my uncle says that he wants to give me his Harley-Davidson when I get my driver's licence. I appreciate the gesture, but I think that bike is for too big for the likes of me lol.
I'm far too petit for such an awesome bike!

Hmm. It does sound rather large for a first bike , something a bit more nimble might be a better choice
