Description
An male African Elephant drawn with coloured pencils on A4 paper! He isn't quite finished yet wanted to see if I could get some feedback before I put my signture on it.Related content

Thanks for the commentary... I use Faber Castell Polychromos. I find that if you have the correct paper they are amazing! Have you tried them?

It looks like you are coming along really well and the texturing in the elephant's skin is fantastic. Β The only thing that first occurred to me about possible improvement is the leg on the left (from our point of view) seems slim, and of course, this may be the part you haven't finished and/or your reference may also make it seem thin. Β This I don't know. Β If I was to say why it seems thin then I think the issue is the shading as it goes into the white background. Β It's slightly sudden. Β I thought it was worth a mention in case it does in fact help.Β
I think you are most certainly heading in the right direction.

Thanks for all the usefull advice and suggestions. Unfortunately I have finished the drawing and it is sold so I can't send an update on it's final appearance. I would appreciate it if u took a look at the WIP I have posted. I am interested to see what u say! It is also of an elephant. Thanks again. πππ
