Description
A coloured pencil drawing of an African Leopard relaxing in a tree. I used a photo from Kiwunda (previously known as shrimpeth) on Deviant art as a reference. Still have a way to go. I have spent around 100 hours so far.

Yes and no. it is an easel one can change the angle from table flat to vertical. I love it because I can do almost anything with it. I often like to draw as if I am working on a flat table, but if it is a big piece I need to tilt it in order to work without smearing the work. Great buy!

Beautiful work. You have way more patients than I. I like the results from coloured pencil but they are painfully slow to work with.

Thanks, you sure are right about the coloured pencils. I have never tried painting but at times when I am labouring away with the coloured pencils I think to myself it is time to try. I suppose the patience comes from being a golf professional... You certainly need them there too! 😜

Patience is a virtue in all things worth while. If you do consider painting you may want to try combining coloured pencil ( Derwint acrylic ink pencils) with water colour or liquid acrylic using an airbrush. That's what I do and it works well for me. It takes just as much in the patience department but it is a heck of a lot faster.
