I find it awesome too! Well taken and edited.
I also like using puddles for reflections. What I do is, I go with the camera as close to the puddle as possible and this way almost everything on the photo reflects.

These are diesel electric. Diesel hydraulic was an experiment that never really went anywhere for North American rails. Southern Pacific and Rio Grande experimented with diesel hydraulic locomotives in the 1960s and 1970s - some imported from Germany and others home-built by ALCo - but that was about the extent of diesel hydraulics in North America.
