Description
Got around to finishing this one, Bahamut in his pure demon form.Story behind the form can be seen in the image before this one.
The same picture as the one before it.
Even though the anatomy is off in this, I really like how it turned out. I really had fun working on, playing around with some things and ideas. Those marking on him are menat to be scars, a bit of a longer story behind those. I'm not sure if I like the tail puff though, it was an idea I tries out, and though it looks good, don't know I like it.
The wings were also a weird idea, since the original sketch didn't show the wings due to the obvious fact they would hid the body, I decided to try something to show them while not hiding the whole picture.
With this one, I decided to play a bit with the whole composition by adding to the atmosphere and lighting, having a sort of backlighting and bounce lighting. I can't decide if I like it or not.
Photohsop CS.
Time 7+ hours.

Wow, this looks good! Major kick-assage this is! +FAV Hehe, and your hair turns white! Kinda reminds of Onimusha where Samanosuke transforms into his Oni form and his hair turns white. You should play Onimusha; it's a great game!

I prefer the atmosphere in this one, the colours bring out the light and shadow more I think

This one's better for the wings. It brings out their translucency better. ^_^
Just curious: how'd you get the transparent effect? I usually put them onto a different layer and reduce their opacity or fill.

Yeah, just played with the opacity with the one layer, nothing special.
