this is my first tiger painting, so any crits and comments are very welcome... it is painted in acrylic, and my reference picture was very pixellated so had to dig around to get detail... the original is for sale.... PaulRelated content

Stunning work on the fur! If I were to nitpick anything, it would be the out of focus part of the lower foreground. I think I would have eliminated it and just painted the lower part of the tiger. It takes a way from the the central focus, which is the tiger, other than that, flawless work

carol, thanks for your observations on my Tiger painting, I really do appreciate it... the out of focus bit at the front has had mixed reviews, some people love it and some dont like it... I decided to leave it as is, as I dont mind it, but your comment is absolutely valid... again many thanks Paul

such intense eyes! I feel like he's glaring at me for invading his domain! The detail is amazing! I swear this could be a photo! The fur detail is there but it isn't too much or too little. This is just as close to perfect as any artist can get I think. I LOVE the white you did around his chin and the shadows are amazing! He looks ready to snarl at me. This is incredible work and you have every right to be proud of it!
