Alright, so what I like about this piece is how easily it reflects on Rainbow Dash's arrogance. There's something so comical about Twilight losing to RD in a race without even being given a chance. Her facial expression makes her look so annoyed by her conceit, that it's difficult not to laugh at. I also like the bulky outlines you gave to the mares. It sort of gives it a comic book feel.
Now there are a few things about this drawing I would like to address. First is the lighting. The top left corner of the drawing is lit brightly, which is fine, seeing how they're in the sky and are close to the sun, but then when we get to the bottom right corner, the piece is more dimly lit, almost as if a storm is about to break out. That section of the drawing should be a bit more brighter, seeing how they're flying on a sunny day. The shadows should also be talked about. Seeing how shadows can't appear on clouds, I feel like the drawing doesn't need them. Lastly, I would make Rainbow Dash's tail a bit spikier, and with some of the edges going more inward. It would resemble the one she has on the show a lot more closely.
Overall, I think this is a fair drawing. I like RD's competitiveness, as well as Twilight's frustration, and I especially love the style that is identical to that of a comic book. I just think that you should take a few of these criticisms into account, and you'll make your pieces even better for next time. Keep up the tremendous work, iamthemanwithglasses!

I do appreciate your feedback. With the dim lighting on the bottom right I tried to interpret Twilight being behind her more on an angle. I know I didn't execute that very well but I tried you know. I'll take your criticism into account because you had legitimate points and it was constructive. I'm glad that you liked it as well.
