Entry for the Sweeney Todd poster contest.I made this from some of the stock photos provided for the contest. My contributions are mostly in the coloring, relighting, shading, and various other bits of Photoshoppery. I also made my own title with splattery bit similar to the real one, because they totally failed to give us that in the stock materials, which seemed like a very strange omission.

Very good! Though as asthesmokeclears says, surely you used photos? It actually looks like you stuck Todd's head on a cosplayer's body. Just curious- am i right?

Catching up on some old comments - I used some of the stock photos that the contest provided, and then went nuts doing wacky stuff to them with Photoshop. No heads were switched, the base is a frame right out of the film.

Ohhh weird. There's a patch of skin under Todd's scarf that looks normal...i guess that's the moviemakers' fault.

Wow, this is gorgeous. It looks like a painting. Though surely you used the photos as it's too much the same as them. And there's both warmth and horror in those red tinges. I love it.

Hey thanks, I was aiming for a warmer presentation than a lot of the other entries I saw - and yes, I did use the stock images. I'm glad my coloring worked out - so many of the other entries stuck to grays and red and seemed to be aiming at just being sinister, and I really wanted mine to be different. Glad you liked it!
