even though I prefer tops that provide a bit more coverage, I have to say that this is one of my favorites of all I've seen (and I've been looking a lot the past few days! I'm hoping to try out chainmail for myself soon)

Being one of the people who worked on the movie (in fact "Scorpion King was my second film for maille, my first being "Wild Wild West"), for being an all-maille copy (the original had stamped metal diamonds) this is very good work...enough differences to make it your own, but still "true" to the appearance of the original. My true envy is that you got pictures back...I've made two maille copies and one from the original stamping dies, and have yet to get a single photo...

I knew that the original was made from metal diamonds, but I had no idea how it was put together. You'd think they would have had the courtesy to furnish you with a few pics....
I had the same problem though, this is the second copy of my design. The first order was MUCH closer to me, Columbus, OH. Yet I still never recieved the promised modelled pics.....LOL.
The first I made from bright aluminum, so the whole thing was silver. I think I like the anodized gold better, it really makes the outfit a bit closer to the original....
