Emergency Samus sketch!
Inspired after seeing "Metroid: Samus Returns". The varia suit design has the sleekness of the Other M suit combined with some of the chunkiness of the Prime one. I like! (though I don't love the 3DS graphics, you take what you can get!)
I wanted to try out a quick style so I'm not spending 15 hours on every little thing. I think this one took less than 2, though I wasn't counting.

They made a new studio for Prime so I'm excited to see what they can do with it.

I'm wary of it not being Retro, but I shouldn't not give it a chance. The lead developer from Retro is assisting, so I get the feeling he'll get the sense of isolation and loneliness down pat for the game.
And I shouldn't be too doubtful; Nintendo itself made Metroid in the first place. I'm sure they can make it just as well as Retro can.

Well the fps guys that made metroid prime left Retro after MP Trilogy so I don't know if the current team would do the best job with that type of game. I'm glad they are actually making a 3D Metroid game in-house with a new team because Nintendo hasn't really made their 3D sci fi games themselves, at least not since the N64.
If by the lead Retro guy, you mean the Nintendo producer Tanabe, then yeah he's produced all of the MP games. I'm actually a little worried about his involvement because I really think he doesn't know what makes people love the Prime games in the first place. Keep in mind that this guy REALLY wanted to make Federation Force and loves his dumb storyline. The federation is easily my least favorite thing about the Prime games so I hope they just make a game similar to the first Prime game instead.
