Emergency Samus sketch!
Inspired after seeing "Metroid: Samus Returns". The varia suit design has the sleekness of the Other M suit combined with some of the chunkiness of the Prime one. I like! (though I don't love the 3DS graphics, you take what you can get!)
I wanted to try out a quick style so I'm not spending 15 hours on every little thing. I think this one took less than 2, though I wasn't counting.

Did anyone else notice that this version of the Varia Suit is like a perfect fusion of the one in Prime and the one in Other M while still having its own design features that contrast it from the two?

yeah they probably looked at all of the previous games and picked elements from each suit that they liked.

How about the fact that this game's version of the fusion suit has the screw things in the shoulders?

Interestingly enough, the screw things are in a similar location to the lights on the Other M Varia Suit

Yeah I was all about getting the new Samus amiibo, but you have to buy it with the Metroid in a double pack for $30. Not sure if I'm willing to go that far.
