In truth I was even making my own metroid like game because I thought we'd never get another one (let alone two) but thankfully the cynical predictions for the franchise's future were wrong. I'm now just making the thing for fun and am super excited for samus returns and prime 4!!!

im glad it looks like Metroid 2 is taking some of the good ideas Other M had and adapting it to give Samus some close range defense as well as a Counter for boss battles, Β thats a nice evolution of the formula

I was wondering when the new fan art would show up, yours looks awesome as usual. Going off of the gameplay footage we have seen so far, the black "spheres" or "buttons" on Samus' shoulders near the breatsplate (I'm not sure how else to describe the location) don't quite looks purely decorative but I have no idea what they could be. Still, your art looks great as usual.
