Description
After reviewing the spell one more time, Twilight carefully begins to manipulate the magical aether permeating the space around her. As the forces gather and concentrate, the room seems to darken while sparks flash around the young unicorn. A small whirlwind entrains papers and debris, and the pages of the spellbook turn rapidly under its influence...This drawing is intended as a sort of sequel to "A Difficult Spell" fav.me/d6ocndc . There will probably be more drawings of Twilight to come.
The Broken Leylands is a region in the fictional world of Roanoak created by Valinye:

Oooh, this is cool! I love the atmosphere of this piece! I love how papers are being moved around. One gets a really strong sense of powerful magic build-up.

Thanks! I was having a lot of trouble at first trying to capture that swirling wind effect. The flying papers and open book helped a lot.

I feel it is my obligatory duty to tell the artists of good art that got in the EQD Drawfriend to inform them that their art made it into the EQD Drawfriend. Congrats. As for the piece itself, I really like the shockwave effects, and the reflections on the floor are impressive.
