Fall of an Empire was released yesterday! In celebration, I've drawn the Crystal Empire. I hope it doesn't take too long to load...The album was arranged by The L-Train and performed by the Royal Canterlot Symphonic Metal Orchestra. Many of the people involved in the making of Moonrise were also involved in this album. It's on YouTube and Bandcamp:

I've tried fruitlessly to figger out flag animation. Hats off to you, sir.

I originally tried to animate them frame-by-fame in Flash after studying slo-motion flag videos, but failed terribly. The motion is so complex and fluid; like Celestia's mane, but worse.

Ah, ok. I've never used Blender and the most I've done in AE is the requisite Lightsaber effect I think everyone dose at some point.
