I promised updates to Moonrise here, so I guess I should post something every now and then, huh?

There are many background characters in Moonrise, so a fair bit of work has been devoted to the problem of generating a multitude of characters that don't look too obviously repeated. Care was taken to make the pony puppets versatile and streamlined so I could reuse parts and animate faster. For example, many of the mane styles were designed to easily accomodate a horn or go hornless, and all puppets have been set up so that their colors - including gradients - can be easily changed in a few clicks without having to go into each symbol.
