Okay, so, I have been wanting to do a family tree of EternalVerse for some time now, as I have a lot of background ships and characters that aren't important at all and won't really need a bio, so I figured a family tree would be perfect to show them all. i just never could find a base that I would want to use, so, I made my own! I figured I could make it into a base so you guys could use it too! This is the first base I have ever made, so it's not perfect, but I hope you guys will still have some fun using it, if you chose to!

There is a lot of my headcanons that are super important for EternalVerse and it's characters, for example the magicaly created children, self made alicorns and other forms of Unicorns/Pegasi/Earth ponies, you don't have to use those if you don't want to, but I'm not going to stop you from using them either! Just make sure to give me credits for some of the headcanons and we are good!

I'll try and update this with some info abou the different races and my own headcanons, explaining the magicaly created offsprings, alicorns, lunar ponies and others!

As I promised, I'm here to share some facts about the differences between the pony races! So, let's get into it, shall we?

Unicorns
The pony kind with the most magical abilities and, honestly, very much treated like royalty in ancient times. Most unicorns are to be thanked for the pony kind's most advanced inventions and books, and most of them are sure to rub it in your face.

Pure blooded unicorns:
-Or, in another words, unicorns with only unicorns in their family tree. Let me tell you, out of every other pony kind, unicorns are crazy over their poor blood, as most unicorns from mixed families either gain some difficulty in using magic or can't using magic at all. Pure blooded unicorns are known for their curved hors, fluffy hooves and long, elegant tails. Most of them wear their poor bloodness proud and loud, as most pure blooded unicorns have been, outside of Canterlot, dissapearing.

Second generation unicorns:
-Unicorns who, even with their poor blood, have a weaker magic. Most ponies blame it on the pace of the world, as the magical energy unicorns get from the world around them has been disappearing over time. While noone really likes talking about it, the chance of magic disappearin some day in the far future is very high. Even if most unicorns, and other ponies, chose to act like it isn't happening, it caused a lot of panic. The royals/leaders from around Eqquestria are trying their hardest to find any way to stop, or at least help, the situation.

(While the school for Gifted Unicorns, lead by Queen Celestia, has been a thing for many years, ever since the "Disappearing magical energy" situation, the school has became more of a housing for powerful unicorns, practicaly providing families for just showing their kids off. It's why so many families have tried getting their own kids into the school, including Twilight's parents).

Disabled unicorns:
-Disabled unicorns can be either the offsprings of missed parents, offsprings of two second generation unicorns or even of pure blooded unicorns. It all comes down to if their horns developed well enough or if their parents have been keeping enough magical energy in their body for both themselves and their child during pregnancy. With unicorn disabilities, it doesn't mean you won't be able to use magic, many disabled unicorns still make carreers out of their magic and abilities. Most unicorns just have the symptomps of not being able to use too much magic at once without getting migranes, having to take breaks between spells, sometimes not being able to use certain types of magic (deffensive magic for some, healing magic for others and so on). Trixie is a disabled unicorn and look at her go, she is an absolutely excelent magician while also studying withcraft to be able to use the types of magic she cannot do trough potions!

Mixed unicorn children:
-While not every mixed unicorn comes out with a small horn, some do. They can't use magic at all but they can still feel the presence of magic around them, something every unicorn can do. Sweetie Belle is one of those such unicorns! (+While the Belle mother comes from a pure blooded family, their father is a mix, mostly taking after his earth pony father).

Pegasi

Storm pegasi:
-Pegasi with bodies made to handle working around storms, lightning and strong winds. Their ears are protected by ear puffs, to make sure their ears wouldn't be damaged while around loud thunder. Their wings are strong, firm and can be turned sharp to protect the cloud pegasi from danger. They are known for their extreme flying speed and easy turning while flying, to dodge the lightning flying in the sky. Small dose of electricity does not hurt them and can, instead, give them some energy! They can also feel the upcoming changes of weather! Raindow Dash is a storm pegasi herself.

Cloud pegasi:
-Elegenat, slim and almost weightless, their wings are easy to touch, long and extremely soft, made to not disturb the clouds they work with. They are almost the complete opposite of the storm pegasi. Fluttershy is a cloud pegasi, very much like every other member of her family!

Winter pegasi:
-While they normaly shave off their furr during spring and summer, they let their furr grow during autumn to prepare themselves for their hard work in winter. Their wing are strong and warm, to be able to work with the freezing cold. While other pegasi stay save inside their homes or on the ground with the earth ponies and unicorns during winter, the Winter pegasi take over Cloudsdale to keep the cold under control. Night Glider is one of those pegasi, while also being a lunar pegasi!

Disabled/mixed pegasi:
-I think I don't really need to explain this one lol! They are known for their short, or weak, wings and not being able to fly, very much like Scootaloo.

Bat ponies:
-Before Luna has been imprisoned on the moon, most Celestia's guards have been made out of the unicorn kind, while Luna's was out of the pegasi kind. When the era of Nightmare Moon began, the alicorn created her own army of bat ponies, from her own guards, and the newly made pegasus race stayed around since then. They mostly sleep in the day, while being active during the night, having amazing eyesight in the dark while bleing as blind as, well, a bat in the light.

Earth Ponies

Nature gifted earth ponies:
-Earth ponies with ties to the old ways of natural magic. There are two times, the floral ponies being able to speed up the process of growing in plants and having a small talent in healing magic, while the farm kind being known for their unpony strenght. Applejack and her family (outside of Applebloom) and the flower ponies in Ponyville are such ponies!

Second generation earth ponies:
-Very much like second generation unicorns, those earth ponies lost most of their ties to magic. They can be also the product of mixed families, altrough those are also known for being a bit weaker then other earth ponies and having problems with getting easily sick.

Alicorns

Real alicorns:
-Noone really knows where they come from, as both Celestia and Luna have been very quiet and secretive about their beginnings but they are known for exceling in any kind of magic they put their mind to, while exceling in one specific field (Celestia with her sun/light related magic, Luna with her night/dream walking abilities and Cadence with her emotion related magic). They are very alien looking from the other pony kinds, to be perfectly honest.

Alicorn blessed ponies:
-Ponies, like Twilight and Cadence, who have been intrusted with the magic of the Alicorns. Celestia saw potential in them both and felt the need of two new princesses. It's almost like a calling, for both Luna and Celestia. If there is any field the ponies seem to be slowly failing at or loosing, the alicorns are here to find those who can help and change the world for the better, helping to train those ponies until they are mentaly strong enough to recieve the alicorn magic. The other pony parts (wings/horn) is alway sjust a meer bonus, there to show the power those ponies have is bigger then those of other kinds, while proving to be honestly quite useless in the long run.

Self made alicorns:
-There has been only two cases of someone trying to become an alicorn themselves in history and the two sisters try and keep most details hidden. Ponies, who have tried to gain their wings and the incredible alicorn power, has suffered greatly, as their bodies weren't ready to handle that much magic, it's why Celestia had to watch over Twilight and Cadence for so long, before they proved themselves. Magic is something that needs to be used, let out and freed, as to not overwhelmed the body too much. Which is why, those "eyes" under their real ones, are all really just open wounds (which can appear really anywhere on the body) oozing with the magic that has overflew the body's limit. Their wings aren't really usable either, just helplessly being dragged on the ground with the body's movement. While their horns try to grow as much as they can to be more fit for the magic, witch can result in the horns looking more and more like antlers than anything else.

Lunar ponies
While there is no real difference between them and others, those ponies are born under Luna's full moon. They can see in the night and have more of a grib on their dreams but, other then that, they are pretty similar to other ponies.

Magicaly created offsprings:
Ponies created by magic, growing, feeling and acting like any other pony out there. They are mostly created for ponies who have no other way of getting children. They mostly have very natural color palettes and never gain their cutie marks. They live for as long as the pony who created them is alive. They can't actually use their horns and wings, they are mostly there to make them feel closer to their families. They are naturaly very heavy, so flying is a nono, and magic... well, it's hard to tell if magicaly created offsprings have a soul to store magical energy or if their horns just aren't build for it.

Fouls/fillies
-They all look very similar until the age of 10, where their body/fur/horns/wings start growing to what type of their kind they are.
