I like kids. Obviously. LOL And one of the things I really liked in Twilight Princess was that even though Link was an adult in it, there was a lot of involvement from the kid characters. One of my favorite side-stories is how Colin was able to find his courage and face and conquer his fear. I like to think that Link gave the kids lessons in how to use a sword once he recovered from his adventures.The gesture he's making is, as I imagine, him correcting one of their stances; Probably Talo's. It's a bit wide. When I took martial arts, that was a big problem of mine; my stance was always way too wide, and I looked like I was doing lunges or something.
It was just a habit I got into. My exasperated instructor finally got a spare yellow belt and tied it around my ankles. 
I almost laughed myself onto the floor.Background. huge pain. And it STILL didn't turn out how I wanted it to. :sigh: oh well. At least I am happy mostly with the kids, and this is one of the better Links I've drawn. : D

Although, one minor nitpick in the description I really hope you don't mind, Link wasn't an adult in Twilight Princess. He was seventeen.

I did, yes. In a previous picture, I drew him correctly, but it was easier in this unusual stance to draw him without shoes. Thanks for your observation! C: C:

Hey! Thanks! Well a background, especially a detailed one, is not something you do in one sitting. You have to work on it in stages lol. It's a huge pain, but worth it, I think. C:

Not everyone likes doing backgrounds. But that may change. XD I never used to do them. Then I wanted scenes and not just characters, so I started. It takes practice. And patience. I don't have lot of that latter which makes it harder. lol
