You're not annoying me. First, go to Layers>New Layers and draw whatever you want to animate. Then, you either click Layers>New Layer and draw, or you go to Dialogs>Layers, and that'll open a window showing all the layers. Then, you highlight the layer and hit Duplicate, and edit it the way you want it. I'm not very good at explaining, but there are a couple good tutorials here-->[link] . I just suggest when you're done with the frames, don't use Filters>Animation>Optimize(for GIF). Just hit Filters>Animation>

No, it doesn't. It's a little hard to understand at first, but it's really easy after you use it a couple times. The best part is it's free
