Fullview in the name of the moon!I'm rather pleased with how this turned out<3 In the spirit of that "kick your own ass" thing, I took this [link] and redrew it. It's stil a half-page drawing, and I still like doing those<3
I got to play with my version of Neo-Queen Serenity's outfit, too :3
And I seem to be highly confused. I know in the anime that only Serenity's mother had silver hair, but didn't she then have it herself in the future in the manga? As Neo-Queen Serenity? Hum.

Yes Queen Serenity had silver hair both in the anime and the manga but here's the real kicker ... (I only noticed this breifly awhile back looking at the episodes again)
In the manga, all of the serenes (Queen Serenity, Princess Serenity, and Neo-Queen) all except Chibiusa had silver hair. and just for fun, I've heard a rumor that in Naoko's notes, Chibusa was born what was supposed to be a full moon so thus would get her silver hair as well, but earth or something got in the "way" of the moon so thus that's why her hair is pink ... makes alot more sense in the anime since Neo Queen also has gold hair.
Now that leads into the anime. Queen Serenity's hair was actually yellow at one point believe it or not; if you CAREFULLY looking at the flashback of the Silver Millenium of BSSM episode 31? in English dub, where it shows the princess with her mother, it's a VERY faint yellow, almost white yellow. and of course Princess Serenity is gold, and remains gold into the neo-queen serenity stage. eventually she MIGHT get the silver look like her mom, but not sure on that since it stops at that point ... (and in the manga they BRIEFLY show Lady Serenity -chibiusa- future look near the end of the Dead Moon arcs)
My point? All of manga has silver hair, while in the anime along with changing names and wardrobe, they had to be color correct as well so that's why you see Princess Serenity/Neo Queen Serenity with blond hair instead of silver ~

Oohh that explains so much! I like the idea of her being born on a full moon affecting her hair color. I suppose then my major inspiriation was manga because I always had the feeling that she got silver hair in Crystal Tokyo, and now I know why! Thank you so much!!
And thank you for your kind words! I wanted to give her something sort of fuku inspired but still flowy and cloudlike, kinda like her original gown haha.

I honestly like the dress more in the old one but your coloring's definitely improved more in this one! And your composition by a longshot.
