This is the most unique one yet, which isn’t saying much since many before are too in some ways. But this one has the darkest (visual) atmosphere so far & is less “smooth” looking than the others.

If the last prompt had a Metal Gear Solid 2 Tanker Easter egg, then this one’s set inside of it - I based the background on the tanker interior from the same game, specifically the holds where Metal Gear RAY was stored.

After I was done sketching, I noticed the cocoon looked similar to a couple of my really old fakemon back in 2009 ("Sprout" & "Carbage"). I guess I really like the concept of the Eye of Sauron on layered vegetables:

Inspired by Shin Godzilla, "Devil's Symphony" is about a parasite that eventually becomes the destroyer of everything.

Whilst I’ll still be using fineliners, I’m also going to use pencil more often for some backgrounds.

This’ll be my toughest Inktober challenge yet, but hopefully it’ll teach me to do more art outside my comfort zone!
