Description This is a stamp to support a person's own style. Art is a form of self expression and choice. No one should have to go by a book and draw like everyone else.

SOme people think that people are only going to use this stamp to avoid trying to draw better and it should be required for a person to work to improve their skill rather than just have fun drawing. Nothing against improving your skill. But unless you want a career in art this is not a requirement. Art is for fun. If people want to draw stick figures let them. More power to them. I don't care. Art is for self expression, choice, and most of all fun.

The reason I took off the commenting ability is because I would get the same comments over and over again. There are those who love the stamp and all that it stands for, and there are those who just want to give me crap and say how improvement is more important than style, blah blah blah. It got to be so much and I repeated myself so many times that it has actually become slightly stressful to check my messages. So if you like the stamp, great. If you don't, then leave it alone. I am stubborn in my beliefs and you aren't going to convince me otherwise so stuff it.

Just for those people who still want to say the same things over and over again, I'll say this once.
FIrst of all, this stamp is not here so people can go into my gallery and give me crap for the style I choose to draw in. I draw how I wanna draw. Leave it alone. If you would like to give me constructive criticism, that's fine. But don't fill up my messages with flames about the way I draw.

Second. This stamp is not here so people can go into my gallery and give me crap for drawing fan art. I understand fan art is not completely original. When I say I have my own style, I am not talking about the fact that I draw fan art. It is HOW I draw that is my style.

Third. I understand that some people will use this stamp because they just don't wanna draw better and can't take criticism. I DON'T CARE. If they wanna draw a comic involving lines talking to each other they can. I don't intend to stop them. So they don't draw perfect. It's not the end of the world if they wanna draw stick figures and say that's how they wanna draw. Art is about self expression, not getting everything perfect. If a person wants to develop their skills better, then great. If not, great. It's their choice and that's okay with me. Long live stick figures.

At least they're not stealing art from someone else, or tracing, or taking an outline and coloring it and claiming that's their style. At least they're drawing their own thing their own way.

And for the record, if anyone posts a comment on my page to bitch about my drawing or this stamp some more I'm not even going to answer your comment unless I really have something to say, then I'm going to hide the comments and block the person. I don't give a CRAP what people think of my art. I draw what I want to draw, not what everyone else wants me to draw, the only exception being in art requests/trades/commissions. I am very proud of my style of drawing and how far I have come since I started drawing and am not in the mood to take even more crap from people who can't seem to understand my point in this stamp.

so you ripped off rayman? is that supposed to be original? would that count as your own style too? since it is an already-copyrighted character

I didn't rip off Rayman. I just made some fan characters. There's nothing wrong with that. o_0

The meaning of the stamp is that everyone has their own style of drawing. Some people draw more realistically, some people make eyes bigger than in reality, some people make big heads and small bodies, you get the picture.

I'm not saying drawing fan characters is original. Only a moron would think that. What I'm saying is that each person has their own unique way of drawing them.

Next time, please think before you criticize what a person draws. I may draw Rayman fan characters and the like but at least I have an original name instead of naming myself after something in a video game.

Very true.
I remember I was on a graphic forum, and I would constantly get criticized for having a different style then everyone else. I really dislike it when I feel pressuerd to follow a graphic fad
(ie Neon circles), and people just bash me because I'm not following the community's worshiped tutorial.
It was very annoying, and I'm glad I left.

Long Comment Alert

I...HAVE...FINALLY...FOUND....THIS...STAMP !!!!
I thought I was the only one who felt this way! x3

I remeber getting bitched at because my wolf's eyes where to big and the legs where to long, and its tail wasn't facing the right direction..? uh W.T.H. I mean don't get me wrong I love getting tips on how to get better but things can get out of hand. Thats why I love The Cartoon 'Style'. It allows you to have THE RIGHT to mix things up...like have a super tall human with giant ears..iunno wtf and no-one can yell at you for it...but of-course everyone still does.

Style is one of the most important things! I mean without style we would have never had cartoons or anything animated really. I personally think your style is awesome and thank you for making this!
