That reminds me, you still haven't read Chapter 14 of my fan-fic! D8 And that was a week or two ago.
Having a tablet doesn't mean you have to distance yourself from a scanner. In most cases, you can actually draw better on paper than you can on a tablet. My theory is that this is because of the whole "calibration" and "detail-is-limited-to-pixel-size" issues that tablets bring.

Heh heh yeah...Its tab is still open on my window though. ^_^u
Ya know, I actually haven't been on my computer at all since I got my laptop. XD Though I have tried drawing on paper to see if what you say is true and it really wasn't better than drawing on the tablet.

Well, perhaps it wasn't for you. But it is very true for me. On paper, I can twist and turn the paper without having messed up results, and I have a larger space to work with. My arm, which according to my Art teacher is the primary part of the body one should use when drawing, bumps into things when I'm using my tablet. I seem to get my best drawings on paper, probably just because it isn't all mathematical translation like it is on a tablet.
