Description
"...And only you were there for me, when no one else would be."~
Before he was Orange Pop, he was the city's best hostage negotiator. Then, in a high-stakes hostage situation, he made an error that caused an entire room of hostages to be killed. No longer did he hold the status of top negotiator. He now held the burden of the deaths of innocent people on his shoulders. No one would hire him, and he slowly slid into depression.
...Then came along Mr. Orange.

the lighting in this confuses me. ...it looks like the sun is setting behind them, yet they have those long shadows going the other direction.
not trying to be a jerk... just pointing it out. or maybe I'm wrong and the building has huge lights attached to it.
other than that, it's mind blowing.

this is amazing, the level of detail, i love the coloring style its different then what you normally do and really shows the emotion of the piece.
and mr orange seems very inspired by the G. Man in Half Life

The shading is beautiful
the style is awe inspiring
i love the folds in clothing
and the wrinkles on his face
The only thing i could say- and this is just splitting hairs i spose- is to take it a little easier on the lighting of his hair
it looks nice in this particular picture but it might not work so well in others.
or maybe its just me.
just overall very nice work here man, as always.

Like I said bro, I love the pencil look, especially for something done entirely in photoshop.
As for advanced critique, one thing I noticed was that their shadows are going back /towards/ the sun. Though there could easily be a streetlight or something. Definitely love the ease of line you have with the tie flapping off in the wind. The concrete texture is a nice touch too. You could probably get away with less hair highlights though.
All in all, it's absolutely gorgeous. Great mood, good perspective, nice techniques. Every time I see it I want to just grunt in that pained voice and grumble, "You don't understand! I got a lot of people killed today!"

Yeah, I realize this now. I was planning on placing a shadow on their fronts, to show that the light is behind them...but, it's too late. I'll have to be more careful next time. The tie is something I'm half and half on...it looks okay, but it feels a bit stiff to me.
The textures, I'm proud of. I'm learning to use them more. And the hair is also too bright, yes.
It's straight out of a movie. Literally, I think I copied this out of a movie.
