Commission by Pop quiz: what if becoming a regional form changes more than just the Pokemon's type? Like its leveling rate and gender ratio as well? That's what the Cali region is all about. Based off of California, the Cali region has more regional form Pokemon than new Pokemon, and all the new Pokemon are evolved from regional form Pokemon. Allow me to introduce you to this regions starters that are also regional forms. Specifically, Calian form Pokemon. Behold, Calian Sandshrew as the Fire starter, Calian Hippopotas as the Grass starter, and Calian Hoothoot as the Water/Flying starter. As I've said from the beginning, these Calian form Pokemon have had their leveling rates and gender ratios altered to become starter Pokemon. Personally, I find this revolutionary on the regional form Pokemon part. More will be revealed soon.
