First time with photoshop. EVER.

Sooo I decided to color one of my drawings, and put a ton of effort into it so that I could learn more about the photoshop program that I'm using... AND I LOVE IT

I drew the sketch last summer after I had a dream about myself as a mermaid (this scene was in it, at least the pose was...), got the photoshop program this weekend, and colored it. It took me a very long time.

The first night I stayed up until 4:30 am working on it, and I had only finished the tail (without the fins) and the hair. Her skin took a couple hours, and the top about 30 minutes... I spent about an hour on the fins, 30 minutes on her face, and about an hour on the background.

Everything was colored by use of my mouse. I really love how this turned out.

Towards the end, I was listening to Tears of Life, one of the songs from the first Pokemon movie. It helped with the mood of the background. (at least, the calmer parts of the song did xD)

Time spent: ABOUT 12-14 hours.
