Sooo I decided to color one of my drawings, and put a ton of effort into it so that I could learn more about the photoshop program that I'm using... AND I LOVE IT
I drew the sketch last summer after I had a dream about myself as a mermaid (this scene was in it, at least the pose was...), got the photoshop program this weekend, and colored it. It took me a very long time.
The first night I stayed up until 4:30 am working on it, and I had only finished the tail (without the fins) and the hair. Her skin took a couple hours, and the top about 30 minutes... I spent about an hour on the fins, and 30 minutes on her face. (I spent an hour on the background, too, but the background isn't on this version.)
Everything was colored by use of my mouse. I really love how this turned out.
Time spent: ABOUT 11-13 hours. (With the background it'd be more like 12-14. Link at the top of description.)
