Felt like drawing Tawna the way she appeared in her concept art. In fact, that's why she didn't appear in many games after the first one. Naughty Dog originally wanted her to be a busty bombshell to give her a Jessica Rabbit-esque feel, to contrast with Crash being more of an every-man, but Sony told them that they needed to tone it down and redesign Tawna, which they were pretty salty about. They were basically like "Fine, if we can't have OUR Tawna, then NOBODY gets ANY Tawna!" I'll be honest though, I do actually prefer the design she ultimately got in the final game, where she looks more like a "Girl next door" type. There's two kinds of hot, there's skanky hot and classy hot. Tawna in her concept art was skanky hot, but in the final design she looks more like skanky hot that's also somewhat classy, which you don't see every day. But even then, I more than sympathize with the developers and understand exactly why they would have been salty about it, even if I do think it was for the better. I know, many people know, way too many people know exactly how frustrating it is when you have an artistic vision, when you have a way you want to do something, a way you really had your heart set on doing it, only for someone in some position of authority and therefore someone who you have to do what they say to come up to you and be all like "Man, fuck your creative integrity, fuck your artistic vision, and fuck you!" Well okay, I'll admit that's kind of a straw man, but that's what it feels like they're saying when that happens.
