Tis actually a very young leaf black tea. The Darjeeling region is well known for its delicate and young teas. So, you are correct in noting that it looks very much like green tea, though it has gone though the processing of black tea

And yes, it was tasty.

What an interesting story) Well, I write a wrong? So this is still a black tea, not green

But I think the taste of it is still wonderful

"did i write a wrong" - so great, I will likely use that in my writings somewhere down the line, I will be sure to credit you

Yes, that is black tea. But all tea comes from the exact same leaf. It just goes through an oxidation process similar to the browning of a sliced apple. The longer it sits in the air, the darker it gets

So tea goes, generally, from white->green->oolong->black through the process and the tea is then heated at a particular point to stop the oxidation process to make the desired varietal.
