yeah, it was really crazy this afternoon.
fortunately, the winds have died so the spreading will be limited this evening. the county brought in 4 tanker planes from idaho today and they are staged to take flight at first light with the 4 colorado tankers. they should make some good progress tomorrow.
so glad nobody has been seriously injured.
thanks for checking out my photo

Yeah, it's crazy that it started at only 10, and it spread so dang fast. lol. I was up in South Park for the weekend, so I was driving home... Which is out in the middle of nowhere. I had to go on E-470 to get home, so I could see it out of the corner of my eye most of the way, it was sort of daunting, so much smoke.
That is fortunate that no one's been hurt. And luckily, it's not as windy as it was this afternoon, it was extremely windy in Park County today...
Hopefully they get it out soon enough.
Sure thing, it's a cool photo.
