this was mostly done with a pitt brush pen and a crude thin tipped sharpie. i try not be too tight with the line....and sadly that why i think some of these facial features are flat...but i get a spontaneity with the placement of lines that has a more natural feel that's not over thought.

my advice, if you'd care to know, is to sketch with what ever tool and inking style you like and to just do it. don't over think it and don't concentrate in coming up with the perfect piece. instead concentrate on developing a QUANTITY of work.

in essence, ditch perfectionism.
