"N" is for Nomad. specifically Rikki Barnes.i used this DSC as a warm up for two work days. yesterday a 20 minute rough and a tighter 30 minutes today. both days practicing on a tighter finished look that i so desperately need.
the overall drawing is meh. this was mainly trying to keep my line work tight but still lively.

Can't agree on the drawing being meh. The linework quality 's very nice, just like I prefer it to be in the comic books. Digging the texture from the rough put in of white. Good size of brush laying it in leaving nice "grain".

It's a very cute picture, though. The youth of her face contrasts nicely with the grittier aspects of the uniform and gun. Kinda brings out a "kid that has had to grow up too fast" feel, which works well for the character based on what little I know of her.

I love your "meh" and how awesome it is! No, seriously. Flaws aside, this just rocks and I wish you had more time to do complete pieces because seriously, this rocks.

I think it's wonderful. If I had to pick on you about anything at all (and trust me, there is very little) its the line work on the very outside right there of her left arm. Its pretty wobbly and one long line when I think a smoother and perhaps two lines (broken at the elbow?) would make that arm pop. Other than that, your skills are solid as always and the spot blacks being the strongest.

The light on the face is fantastic. I like the line work, but its noticeably finer on the face; all the weights are slightly lighter. Actually, I think I prefer them there than the heavier ones on the body, but that's just my personal taste.
