thanks my line style i used for all the characters here was something i worked on for quite a bit. it's too bad that didn't come off in the final animation.

I just think this version of him is really cool. He's very soft-spoken, and looks more mature than a lot of his past forms. Not saying those aren't cool, cuz they are. This version is just my favorite

I do like that hes not a pretty boy but at the same time hes still hot XD (I'm a dork) I've just recently discovered this series about a month or 2 ago and bought some of the episode on itunes. You and your crew did a great job on the series and hope that you guys will get to do a season 2 ^^*

I love this Kurt! I'm watching the series right now and was so excited when more night crawler episodes kept coming up after ep.6 He's more mature in this series and looks way cooler. Great job!

yes, for the most part. i was the lead designer on the show....there was a couple i passed on because i didn't have the time to do.....like Psylocke. but for the most part, i was responsible for all the main characters......good and bad.

I love the animation in Wolverine and the X-Men, each character look so different that the others. And Kurt is just my favorite, and I love how you brought him to life.

I must thank you for bringing Nightcrawler to life in the series. I really loved Wolverine and the X-Men interpretation far more than the 90s show and Evolution combined. I flailed for joy when Kurt fought with a sword a la Errol Flynn, which took me right back to the classic Excalibur comics before he became super religious. I hope you get to touch on that aspect if you ever get a second season; however, in a way, I don't want you guys to go TOO far on it because I ADORE the entire Kurt-Wanda relationship, which never worked in the comics for me but, here, I'm all for it!

thanks. i gotta give credit to artists like Cockrum, Byrne, Smith , Adams and Romita Jr....those are the people that introduced this character to me, and i just carried that love over to the paper and tried to do these guys justice......paying it forward if you will

I have to say, I honestly like this Nightcrawler just as much (if not more so) than the Evo counterpart! When you are asked to draw up designs for shows like WATXM, how long do they give you to turn in your work? (Just out of curiosity, in case I ever get into animation myself).

all shows are run differently, and all characters have varying degrees of importance. main characters are scrutinized more closely than incidental , background characters.....so usually a studio will give you more time to work on a character.
not as much as movie animation....which studios will spend months working on a single design, but more than a day or so.
NC here, took me a day.....but that's because i already had a handle on the character, and knew what i was going to do with him before pencil touched paper.

yeah, i've been hella busy....but i think that's a poor excuse not to reply to people who take the time to comment on your work, so how bout i start changing that now?
although, i don't know how long it will last, i'll do my best to keep up. i dunno what gene it is that makes people twitter, e-mail on time, blog or journal....but i just don't have it. it's a little ridiculous because it's so simple to do.

i'm glad you, and a whole lot of people on DA it seems, like my take on Night Crawler. he was a fav X-men of mine when i was a kid, and it was a pleasure to be able to get the chance to set the style on a show like Wolverine and the X-men.
i do have a lot more stuff from that show that i have to post. stay tuned in the next day or so and i'll have something up...promise!

when Claremont , Cockrum , Byrne, Smith And Jrjr were handling the character, that's the vibe i got from NC. a lover of romantic movies, and the romantic hero ala Errol Flynn.
