Oh sorry. I thought you said "time on it" not "in it".
Generally when I do the Friday night contest, I only spend a few hours in it. Last year I started putting on the costume at 7:30a.m. for the parade. I didn't get out of the costume till around 1:30 or 2 in the morning, so between 16 and 17 hours last time. The costume was totally wrecked by the time it was over
