this is a cake i spent ALL DAY baking for my friend Lexi's birthday
im so happy it turned out relatively decent looking
5 hours on this cake.
its strawberry shortcake.
with vanilla frosting, and real strawberries.
its 3 layers, and between each layer is sliced strawberries.
guh, this took a long time.
i know the writing is a little messy, but ive never decorated a cake before!
beasides, im worried i might mess it up if i try to fix the writing on it.
oh, and that flower thing in middle is something i cleverly concoted myself!
its a strawberry i cut almost to the base (stem part) both vertically and then one slice horizontally,
and then i spread the 'petals' out and put a dab of decorating frosting in the middle.
i think its pretty
!im so proud of this
and it weighs a ton.
