Description
Mario's character in the Multiverse is similar to how it was and changed in the games over the years. In his earlier years like in the earlier games, he was kinda rude and temperamental. After exploring, racing, partying, meeting new people, and so on, he became more like his present character. I based his Jumpman look off the arcade machine art of the character, right down to the hair and white rim on his hat. It was honestly satisfying to make this, because my older Mario pictures looked kinda uncanny. I guess that's Art Evolution for ya. I mean, look at my pictures of Amitie, the first two don't even look like a kid. Granted, Mario, like many characters, has gone through Art Evolution, though given the change in hair color, does that mean Mario offically dyed his hair at some point? Then again, my hair was blonde when I was younger, and now it looks brown.

Mario, like Kirby, is ironically locked out of the main Vorton Heroes' stories, despite being one of Nintendo's stars. Of course, he has his share of escapades, fighting the Demon King and learning about the Star Children. He can be headstrong, but he's a hero regardless, and ready to take on any threat.

Mario is locked out of the loop in the Vanitas Arc. Pauline keeps trying to call him during the whole ordeal, but things keep interrupting these attempts. Then the King Blot shows up. By that time, Mario is searching for Pauline, concerned and confused, then the sky goes dark, and someone near Mario clutches his chest in pain, and turns into a Heartless. Soon, Mario is thrown into a borderline apocalypse, but manages to form a resistance with the other Star Children and Rosalina.

Mario went to many other kingdoms before setting up shop in the Mushroom Kingdom, including the Ruined Kingdom, which seems to have been torn apart by something...bearing Bowser's emblem. Mario's first escapade in the Mustroom Kingdom is mostly based on Super Mario 64, ending with him cutting the bridge holding Bowser like in their first fight. Bowser seems to die from this, and Mario is understandably shaken by the giant turtle he just burnt to death.

You can probably tell by Mario's Jumpman design that I'm a fanatic for throwbacks and hidden allusions. That said, I gotta work a Popeye reference in there somewhere with Mario...

Intros
It's A-Me!: Leaps out of a pipe, facing his opponent.
Ah Spaghetti...: Is asleep, dreaming of Italian food, before waking up to see his opponent.
Checkpoint: Cappy flies to a Checkpoint Flag, bringing Mario to it.
Of Assistance: F.L.U.D.D. says "Enemy detected.", causing Mario to turn around to see his opponent.

Outros
Grand Finale: Uses Mario Finale, with the fireballs joining together to form a huge fiery Banzai Bill.
'Til the Bitter End: F.L.U.D.D. and Cappy congratulate Mario, as Yoshi appears and picks him up on his back, as Mario pats his head.
Not Quite Over: The area around Mario gets shrouded in darkness, as he turns around to see the Hell Valley Sky Trees looking down at him. He forms fire in his fist, ready to take them on.
Thank You So Much!: Jumps up to a Goal Flag, and slides down. The words "Level Clear!" appear, as Mario walks offscreen, giving a V-sign to the player.
