Description
It was Rachel Riley's 10th year doing Countdown and Catsdown, and she still loved it, but she was getting bored and easily distracted during the tapings. The maths weren't nearly challenging enough, and the jokes were getting stale.One day before taping she was sitting in her dressing room when a knock on the door came. Little did she know that the person on the other side was going to change her life (and her mind) forever.
(Ideally, this is an F-F "Catsdown" RP with one of the other frequent guests: Katherine Ryan, Aisling Bea, Sara Pascoe, etc.; or Suzie Dent, but I'm open to other ideas if you have them. PLEASE know who Rachel Riley is and know what Countdown is for this RP...)
My RP rules:
1) F/F only. Sorry, I'm a lesbian, so no men in my stories
2) Please have an actual hypnosis story with some semblance of a plot. If you just come in with "look in to my eyes and take off your clothes", you're not getting responded to.
3) I'm happy to be Dom or Sub, so please let me know if you're looking to be Rachel, the guest on the show, Suzie, or even someone else if you have ideas, and if you are the other person, a little description of who you are would be good
4) any other questions or comments? I'm happy to respond to those as well.

(Hey, I'd really love to RP this. I'd want to play Suzie Dent in a sub role, as she seems just so sweet and nice, maybe have her loosen up just a little, have her to do fun, totally random and embarrassing things, just to amuse Rachel. Maybe even spell out words or commands on the board and Suzie finds herself performing them.)

Hey... Thanks for your unsolicited opinion on MY posting. Please allow me to explain myself and my reasons to you because you're TOTALLY owed an explanation of my own personal motivations on here!

(No problem. I feel like I can give a good go at actually doing longer, more in depth RP's, but a lot of them just tend to be on the shorter side, never with that much meat to the bones. But no offense taken if you don't want to still.)

That being said, do you mind if we change the story from the idea? I'd rather be the dom, and I'd rather the person getting hypnotized is Rachel. (I can be Rachel, of course. That being said, Suzie and Rachel have always seemed to get along, but I'd say that she isn't all innocent, so Suzie as the dom could be something really fun to explore. Innocently helping Rachel relax and then going anywhere she wants with it.)

(Oh, I'm not saying there has to be hatred or vitriol between them, them being the best of friends is totally fine. She can have her way with her while remain good friends! And Katherine, Aisling, they're all gorgeous, maybe they all come along once Suzie has had her fun and she lets them all know Rachel is totally hypnotizable. It's just Suzie never usually gets a look in with these types of stories, so letting her be almost the forefront would make for a nice change of pace.)

*Suzie knocks on Rachel's dressing room door after another long day of taping. She's wearing a black long-sleeve top with a keyhole opening in the front, with grey plaid slacks and black flats.*
"Hey Rachel. Man, another long week. I can't wait to get home and pour myself a big glass of red wine." Suzie says with a laugh, brushing her hair out of her face.*

*Rachel looks up from her phone, just having settled herself. She sits in her lacy black shirt, tight white mini-skirt and simple black heels. Her beautiful face meets Suzie's, lips gloriously smiling at her workmate.*
"Tell me about it Suzie...actually." She pauses, thinking to herself for a second, before standing and sneaking to a little cubby hole in the corner of the dressing room. She bends down, and reaches for a moment, before pulling an unopened bottle of red wine.
"I keep this here for special occasions, or when there's more than just me in here wanting a drink." She smiles and winks, pouring each of them a drink in coffee mugs, as they're the only available container for such a drink.

"Ooo, look at you, Riley, you sneaky thing." *Suzie takes the mug from Rachel and cheers with her Co-host. She sits down in the other chair in Rachel's dressing room and takes a sip.*
"Can't have too much. Have to get home for dinner with the kids." *Suzie takes another sip.* "Tell me, Rachel, how long have you and pasha been together now? Any thoughts about settling down and starting a family of your own?"

*Rachel smiles, taking a seat, crossing one slender leg over the other, sipping away after cheers-ing with Suzie.*
"Oh, you know. The biggest key to our relationship is that we're happy, to be honest." *She quickly takes a sip while she thinks of something to say* "It's been...ooh, 6 years since I got with him, but there's just so much pressure that comes with marriage and children, uh, nothing against you, of course." She smiles politely. "But we are good how we are. When we feel like it's right, we probably will, but we don't need it yet."

"Hey, no, I respect it. Paul and I were ready when we had our kids. Some people aren't ready, and some people just don't want kids. Whatever works for you guys is great, you seem really happy."
*Suzie changes her line of questioning.* "So you're going on 10 years here now. How long are you going to keep doing this? If I looked like you and had a PhD in maths, I'd have been out the door a while ago. Sadly, there's less market for middle aged lexicographers." *Suzie adds with a laugh.*

"I'm glad I seem happy Suz, you guys seem really happy too. It'd be lovely to do one day, but I still feel that's a long while in the future."
*She takes another sip from her mug, always enjoying an after show tipple with a colleague.*
"Oh, Suzie, don't be so hard on yourself, you're gorgeous! And honestly, I'm still happy here. It tests my maths brain and keeps my options open for other appearances on other things, but I do know what you mean. I am happy though! It's fun work, especially with Catsdown, but yeah, I'm happy. Why do you ask?" She asks with a smile, but also genuinely curious where Suzie's line of questioning is going.

"Just wondering. I mean, I see myself here until they either get rid of me or I can't remember my own name. Just taking your temperature on how long you thought you'd around. Carol didn't leave on the best of terms. And I like working with you. So I just wanted to know if you were planning on leaving me."
*Suzie speaks the truth. She does love working with Rachel. She's fun and very supportive. Suzie takes another sip of her wine.*

*Rachel takes another sip of wine and smiles, chuckling slightly.*
"Suzie, you know I'd still remain friends with you if I left the show!" *She casually uncrosses her legs, and re-crosses them, getting comfier in her seat.* "I always enjoy working with you as well, and if I left the show, it doesn't mean I leave everything behind from it, ending on good or bad terms. As long as I'm happy with everything, I'm staying. Currently, I'm happy, so I shall remain here."
*She smiles brightly, taking one big swig of wine to finish her mug-full.*

*Suzie grins, finishing her mug of wine as well. She sits up in her seat in the chair.*
"Hey, I heard they were trying to do some quick renovations and improvements on the set. Want to go check it out? We've got to be the only ones left in here by now."

*Rachel raises an eyebrow, sitting up in her chair rather like a meerkat, uncrossing her legs.*
"They are? What can they improve on this set? There's...hardly a lot of action or anything. Do you know what they're doing to it?"

"I'm not sure. I heard one of the producers say something about renovations to the set. And since we're here everyday, I think we're entitled to check it out before anyone else, don't you?"
*Suzie sets down her empty mug and opens Rachel's dressing room door, holding it open for her co-worker. Together, they walk to the set to find... It looks exactly the same as before.*

"I should darn well think so!" Rachel perks up, following in behind Suzie. They both arrive and...it looks...the same.
"Uh, renovations? This is exactly the same set as before." Rachel totters up, her heels clacking the hard floor, checking her letters board and numbers area. "Are you sure it wasn't another set on the lot? Maybe Dictionary Corner's had an upgrade?"

"I'm not sure. Let me look around."
*Suzie, of course, knows exactly what she's doing, since she set this whole thing up. She walks over to dictionary corner, seeing nothing new, Rachel walks over to the letters and numbers boards, nothing there either. She decides it's time to put her plan into action.*
"Here, let me try this, stand over there." *Suzie points to the middle of the stage (that raised circle in front of the contestant seating). As Rachel walks back over, Suzie walks over to the hosts desk and presses the button to start the Countdown clock. The big machine springs to life and appears normal for the first 30 seconds, but as the clock hits 30, instead of stopping, the hand keeps going. The lights begin flashing oddly and the hand starts to spin faster and faster.*

*Rachel stands there, waiting awkwardly, twiddling her thumbs.*
"Um, Suzie. I don't know if you knew this, but the clock always did this." Since no-one's on set, Rachel can get away with playfully humming and playing air drums to the beat at the end, but that one...last beat really resonated with her, like it never did before. Her smile, bright and playful fades ever so slightly as the arms spin around, lights flashing in a strange, uncomfortable fashion.
"Uh, did you do something Suzie? I swear they never had this there before." She squints, trying to look away just a little, but her eyes remain on the clock, and the lights.

*Suzie does her best to look puzzled at the clock 'malfunctioning'.*
"I don't know what's going on here, Rachel. Maybe this is the renovations they were talking about?" *Suzie pantomimes like she's pressing the button to stop the clock, but doesn't actually press it. The hand on the clock spins faster, the music speeds up, and the lights flash in an even stranger pattern. Suzie watches Rachel's face closely, being careful not to look at the clock herself.* "I'm not sure what the point of these new clock features are, Rachel. Very bizarre."

"Suzie, can't you stop it?" *Rachel glances over at Suzie, but really can't keep her eyes away for very long.*
"If these are the renovations, they are very bizaaaaa..." Rachel's mind, and eyes, and voice trails off, lost in the lights, for just three seconds, and then she snaps back in.
"U-uh, v-very bizarre, don't you agree Suz?"

*Suzie notes that Rachel is already getting lost in the lights and is careful to do nothing to disturb Rachel until she snaps back out of it a few seconds later. Once Rachel's mind returns, Suzie continues making a big show to claiming she's trying to stop the clock when in reality she's doing nothing of the sort.*
"I'm sorry Rachel, I'm trying. It doesn't seem to want to stop going. It is very weird, I'm not sure what they're trying to do here." *The lights continue to flash and the clock hand keeps going faster and faster in it's circular pattern.*

"W-well Suzie, you might want to try a bit haaarrr..." *Rachel's super intelligent brain trails off once more, her honours degree in maths couldn't be further back in her head. But just as it goes, her mind sparks back up once more, lighting up again, but this time, her eyes are a little more glazed, unblinking.
"A-a bit harder to stoooop...the lights..." Her eyes are following the spinning for all they can, the lights reflecting back on her rapidly watering eyes.
"It's making...it so hard to...think, Suzie...r-right?"

*Suzie stands up and walks behind the clock, pretending to look for the plug to shut the whole thing down.* "Rachel, I'm so sorry. I don't know where the plug or the master switch are to turn it off. I don't know what they want us to do here."
*Suzie peaks around the clock and watches silently as Rachel's eyes are locked on the clock and the lights.* "You know, it looks kinda pretty from back here, Rachel. Are you sure you want me to turn it off?"

Rachel hasn't blinked for a solid two minutes, her eyes locked, her hands limply hanging at her sides.
"I'm not sure Suzie, it's...my head...I can't think but you...it is so...so pretty..." Her mind, yet again trails off, her jaw starting to hang down as the hands go faster and lights flash brighter, working their way right into her clever, beautiful head, yet all that doesn't mean much anymore, her arms hang looser, her mind more pliable, her eyes start drooping, all the while ensuring the lights can be seen.

*Suzie comes around the seats and approaches Rachel slowly, still very careful not to look at the clock herself. She notices Rachel's limp arms, her slackening jaw, and her drooping eye level. She stops a few feet away from Rachel.*
"Yes, it is so pretty. So very very pretty with the lights and the spinning hands on the clock. Just let the beauty work, Rachel. Enjoy it, you said yourself how pretty it was and that the beauty is in your head."
*Suzie speaks softly and sweetly, trying to make her voice as calm and pleasant as possible for it to also work its way into Rachel's mind.*

*Rachel notices Suzie coming closer to her, but can't look, or do anything about it until she speaks, the lights and hands and colours fill her mind with too many...other things to worry about anything else.*
"It's so...beautiful. The beauty is in my head..." Those words seemingly ring out around the empty studio, echoing in her mind, as Suzie's sweet, innocent words seemed to work their magic too, as her eyes droop more, shoulders loosening, knees starting to buckle, just a tiny bit, the beauty still keeping her upright.

"That's very good, Rachel. That's very very good."
*Suzie coos sweetly as Rachel parrots her words. Suzie notices Rachel's shoulders starting to slump as well and knows the clock is have the exact desired effect she had hoped. Suzie sees Rachel's knees wobble just a little and decides to continue to coax Rachel along while also protecting her body.*
"As you look, Rachel, and you're drawn into the clock more and more, as your body is called by the beauty, feel you legs remaining strong and sturdy. You can continue to stare at the beauty because you know you are safe standing here and you will not fall."

As soon as Rachel hears Suzie's soft and sweet voice coo in her head to remain sturdy, you can see her legs almost lock up at the knees, like two vices making sure to keep something in place. Her voice gets more relaxed and dumbfounded by the beauty.
"Called...by the beauty..." All she can seem to do is parrot the words she's hearing, no original thoughts happening any more.

*Suzie smiles in delight as Rachel's legs firm up again. The rest of Rachel's body continues to get weaker and more limp the longer she stares into the clock and the lights, but she's so much taller than Suzie, trying to pick her up off the floor would have been an arduous task for the lexicographer.*
"Good, Rachel. So good. Just keep staring at the clock. Staring into the lights. Staring into the beauty. Deeper and deeper, Rachel. Staring deeper and deeper." *Suzie's voice is almost melodic at this point as she works to make it as pleasant and easy to accept in Rachel's mind as she can.*

"Staring deeper...and deeper..." Suzie's melodic charm is just...so darn easy to go with. She's so likeable, and wouldn't do anything to hurt me. After all, Rachel accepts the beauty, and Suzie herself is rather a beauty, so she should accept what Suzie says, it's just that simple.
"...into the beauty..." She continues a few seconds later, getting caught up in thoughts of nothing but patterns, colours, swirls, lights and not thinking, funnily enough. As her eyes just continue to droop and give in, faster and faster.

*Suzie watches Rachel's eyelids continuing to fall and knows her co-worker's resistance is fading fast. Rachel's shoulders are slumping, her head is slowly coming forward and her waist is starting to lean towards the clock as well, almost like a plant leaning towards the sun.*
"Yes Rachel, that's right. Deeper and deeper. Stare into the clock and the lights. Let yourself go wherever they are taking you. Let your mind go. Let your body go. The beauty calls to you, Rachel. You don't have to resist it anymore."

"The lights..." She says, her waist bent, that tight mini-skirt really showing off her gorgeous behind, not that she notices anyone potentially ogling over it, she's too focused on.
"The beauty..." is taking her deeper, than she ever thought she could go. Eyes drooping, body bending, mind fading, voice repeating, thoughts slowing. Rachel's gorgeous big eyes roll slightly, and flutter, her mouth droopy, lulling so much, a bead of drool starts to hang down from her vacant face.

"Don't drool, Rachel. The beauty doesn't like it when the people who see it drool on themselves."
*Suzie commands quickly, cutting out that one side effect of hypnotizing someone that she's always been grossed out by. Suzie sees Rachel's face becoming more and more blank, her eyes rolling and fluttering, and knows Rachel is so close to just drifting away and submitting to the power of the lights and Suzie's voice.*
"That's it Rachel, so beautiful. Just keep staring as long as you can at the lights and the clock. You're doing so well. So very very well."

Rachel instantly finds the energy in her arm to wipe away all of that unsightly mess she's making while still maintaining her pristine make-up. Going along with what Suzie said just felt so...right, as her arm swings away limply back down at her side, eyes fluttering a little more, body bending at an obtuse angle.
"Beauty..." is all she can really say, or think for that matter, as her mind drifts away, legs locked, so bending at the waist more and more.

*Suzie bends down to check on Rachel as Rachel continues to lean more and more forward until her arms are almost touching the studio floor. As Rachel's long blonde hair begins to fall from behind her shoulders, coming over the top and hanging limply around her face, Suzie sees Rachel's eyes, rolling and more and more unfocused, but still open. Rachel's neck slumps down as well, moving Rachel's face out of eyesight of the clock and the lights, but Suzie believes she's too far gone to realize that at this point. Suzie watches closely for Rachel's eyes to close, knowing then, Rachel will be completely gone to the power of the lights and the clock and the beauty and Suzie's voice.*
"You're doing to well, Rachel. So very very well. The lights continue to take you. Let them take you away, Rachel." *Suzie says, going down on one knee to keep watching Rachel's eyes as the mathematician's last bits of strength and will and resistance continue to ebb out of her body.*

Rachel's eyes are still so focused on the beauty...at least she think's they are, as she's now just merely looking at a white floor, her own feet and smooth legs coming into view, but that doesn't register or make anything click. Her hair falls from behind her shoulders, and just as it brushes onto the ground, as her fingertips do too, all the strength, willpower and thoughts leave her, eyes closing, letting out an audible sigh as she bends completely at the waist, nothing left of Rachel's mind, only her body left in its place.

*Suzie hears the sigh and watches as Rachel's eyes finally roll all the way back into her head and the lids close. Suzie watches as Rachel's hair and fingers gently move along the floor, but no reaction comes from the blonde beauty.* "Goodness, she's very flexible. I wonder if she does yoga or pilates." Suzie thinks to herself as she stands back up from the floor.*
"Now Rachel, in a moment, I'm going to snap my fingers. When I do that, you're going to fall into a deep deep sleep. You will still feel the call of the clock and the beauty and the lights and my voice in your subconscious and you mind will remain open, but you will instantly fall deeply asleep, your legs remaining as strong and sturdy as ever." *After hearing no reaction to her words from Rachel, Suzie brushes off her pants and snaps her fingers, knowing that if this worked correctly, it will not bet obvious right away that Rachel has gone from just entrance to asleep and entranced.*

Nothing. No visual cue, or clue, or tell from the lovely Ms. Riley bent at the hip, whereas her mind is spiralling away, ever deeper as seconds pass, breaths are taken, words are said. Rachel is no longer in that room, she's in the beauty, she's somewhere else, mind falling to a place where she didn't even know it'd be a few minutes ago, after sharing a wine in some mugs in the dressing room.
Rachel can't even begin to form words to let Suzie know it's worked, and that she's sinking deeper, but her lovely, toned legs remain as firm as ever, even in her tight glamourous assistant clothing.

"Now Rachel, I want you to stand back upright again when I snap my fingers. You will remain in this deep sleep, sinking further into both trance and physical sleep with every breath, but your body will still respond to my voice and you will stand back up."
*Suzie resists the urge to run her hands along Rachel's legs for now, knowing that soon, she'll be able to do that with an awake Rachel, and that will be so much better.* "Your whole body will remain limp and relaxed, but your waist will become as safe and strong and sturdy as your legs are now."
*Suzie clarifies further to make sure Rachel understands and then snaps the thumb and forefinger on her right hand, hearing the sound echo throughout the empty studio.*

That echo just continues in Rachel's mind, like a click to a lightswitch, it creates an instant reaction and response, as Rachel stands upright from her bent position, head remaining firmly against her chest, in a forest of blonde hair covering it, arms limply swinging by her hips.
Rachel lets out a big sigh as she stands firmly, her eyes even rolling with her eyelids closed, you can see them very occasionally flutter open, some white showing, but you can also just see her eyes under her eyelids moving rapidly as her sleep increases.

^Suzie smiles for the first time since this all started as Rachel rises exactly as Suzie had commanded, her chin still tucked into her chest as her neck is fully relaxed, her arms still useless noodles at her side, making no effort to brush her hair out of her face. The fact that Rachel's head continues to nod and Bob means she's still sinking deeper and deeper with every breath and the whites of her eyes behind the lids confirms the depth of Rachel's entrancement. Suzie takes a step forward, now within arms reach of the sleeping beauty, ready to move this plan into the next phase.*
"Rachel, can you hear me?" *Suzie asks, in the same sweet calm melodic voice as below, wanting to ensure her mind remains as open and receptive as possible once Suzie begins giving more commands.*

"Yessss..." S-Suz? Suzie? She thinks? Well, she doesn't think, but if that thought was there, it might remember the persons name who was talking to her, but that's gone. She's gone. It's all gone. Her body remains, as she slips all the way down.
A melodic tune enters the beauty, she follows it as she intently hears everything it says, and waits for more of this beautiful melody.
