So in honor of OC Appreciation Month, I think it's time my characters get some long overdo bios. Since I'm releasing them in order of the character's appearance, we'll start with my very first OC, Aki. You know, it's sorta funny how this character evolved over time. Out of all of my characters, I think Aki is the one who went through the most changes. Aki was my first OC while I was still learning Kisekae, she starred in a little multiparter (back when I just made individual pics instead of comics) where she gets put under a love spell. It wasn't much, but it was my first completely original works. Problem was when Hypno Trap and other works and requests (some including another character of mine you may know) were doing so well in popularity, Aki felt relatively unnoticed. For a little bit, I was wondering if she'd be retired, but fortunately after time passed people actually did want more of the character and requested her in more deviations. These days Aki is actually one of my more popular OCs and it'd be weird having my gallery without her somewhere! In her earlier appearances she wore a school girl uniform, but I've mostly retired that outfit, since except for certain instances, it didn't really make sense for her to wear it. Still, Aki's been here since the beginning, and I'm glad that she's stuck around for so long. Enjoy!

Name: Aki Aikawa

Aliases/Nicknames: Akaoni (Red Demon) and Akuma

Age:22

Personality: Confident, protective of her friends (especially Aoi), tough, a bit of a tomboy, and has a short fuse for her temper (extremely quick to anger in the right circumstances and violent to boot).

Likes: Rock and Punk Rock, Sports (particularly baseball, basketball, and tennis), hanging out with friends, seafood, and seeing someone real bad get what she feels they deserve.

Dislikes: Bullies, people who mess with anyone close to her, cheaters, being called "short", and tall heights.

Background: The daughter of a local fisherman in her hometown, Aki was raised like any other kid. However, from birth Aki always experienced extreme fits of anger when upset and usually more intense than most of the kids her age. She would get aggressive when angry, especially around bullies who would soon find out that picking on Aki was like kicking a sleeping bear. Because of her red hair and how scary she was when angry, the other kids would call her "Akaoni" or "Akuma". Though it was thanks to her anger problems that she met her best friend Aoi, when she scared away a group of kids that were picking on her. After becoming friends with Aoi, Aki's temper would become a little more balanced, though it would flare up again in certain instances (for example if she was being harassed or if someone tried to bully or hurt Aoi) and the two would become practically joined at the hip all throughout elementary, to middle school, to high school and college. While Aki didn't exactly have enough credits to graduate, Aoi did and was even hired to become a programmer in Free Tech's american branch. Worried Aoi would have trouble over in the US, Aki traveled with her, moving to Spiral Town where they got an apartment to share. To help pay rent, Aki got a job working as a waitress at a Cosplay Cafe, where she dresses up in costume while serving customers. Eventually Aoi would introduce Aki to Cat Nap, who worked with her at Free Tech with her and they would become friends too. Despite her rough attitude, Aki isn't always as prickly as she seems and enjoys the simple things in life. But if you push her hard enough, she will show you how scary and strong she can be!
