Well, here she is. Cat Nap finally gets her own bio. Cat is definitely my most popular OC out of the bunch, and occasionally my guinea pig for when I try out something new. What's funny is that she was originally created for a request I was doing. The request involved someone being hypnotized into a deep sleep where they also snored and drooled too. Quite an order to fill, right? I thought about how to go about that for a bit and so I decided to make a character who had a bit of a sleeping disorder who was seeking a way to sort that out, only to be hypnotized instead. From there, Cat Nap pretty quickly became popular and ended up getting requested to appear in more things. The rest, as you can see, was history. Cat's become something of an unofficial mascot for my profile overtime and it makes me happy to see that people really seem to like this character I made. It was that kind of support that made her the OC she is today. Enjoy!

Aliases/Nicknames: Cat Nap and Cat.

Personality: Friendly, optimistic, thoughtful, nerdy, a little naive at times.

Likes: Cosplaying, comics, anime, video games, movies, cooking, and making costumes.

Dislikes: Seeing her friends upset, brussel sprouts, lies, accidentally falling asleep at bad times and stress.

Background:As a kid, Cathryn Nappet had a mostly normal childhood. When she was 9 years old her mother, Kaitlyn Nappet, walked out of the house and disappeared, leaving her dad, Norman Nappet, to look after her alone until a year later when she came back claiming to be spiritually enlightened. Her parents divorced not too long after that. Despite this, Cat still grew up just fine and always thought her dad had the coolest job, being a special effects artist. She would love seeing his creativity on practical effects, but she especially loved the costumes he'd help make. From it was that very thing that inspired her to make cosplay based on the things she liked and of course she liked wearing them too. Cat would go to many different conventions dressed in her own homemade costumes for years to come. Academically, Cat was a good student and got into a good University where she became roommates with the now famous magician, Mystic Maggie, and became friends with the brilliant, but antisocial, Tori. Overtime though, Cat began to develop sleeping disorders, which include snoring and drooling in her sleep, as well as occasionally becoming drowsy and passing out during the day, and even sleepwalking at times. During her time in college she participated as the costume desinger in her theater group and was a member of computer club and took a number of computer programming courses which upon graduation landed her a job at Free Tech in Spiral Town. Cat's sleep disorders were tricky to manage on the first year there and she'd randomly fall asleep during work hours. Because of this, her co-workers gave her the nickname "Cat Nap". Cat would later become friends with Aoi when they became co-workers at Free Tech and through her would go on to meet and befriend Aki. Cat has become the unwitting subject in many mind control/hypnosis scenarios thanks to low will power, presumably because of her sleep disorders, but usually has no memory of those events after. Despite this though, Cat Nap lives happily in Spiral Town with her friends, one day hoping to make cosplays for a living as she tries to balance both work and play and be the best she can be.

Extra:Unbeknownst to her, Cat Nap is actually a multiversal constant of some kind. For whatever reason, it seems that every universe out there has had a version of Cat Nap in it. The reasons to this strange occurrence at this time is unknown.
