Description saw this lil' moonpie sittting out by my house, so i cut him off his damned tree to shoot him
(insert apology to mother nature here)

i am once again trying out new border styles...i like having one consistent border style for awhile, but then i get bored of it...i dunno...maybe i'll just all y'all!

and yes, i did do a bunch of stuff to this in photoshop, but i felt that the basis of it is in photography so i put it there...so...

Nice, very nice. Very simple and catchy. Nice touch with overlaping border and plant. But I think it's manipulation - if you won't be able to do that in your darkroom - and that's the extreme criterium for manipulating photo and still have it in photo gallery - then it's manipulation. But I'm often confused with all that classifications myself so I could be wrong this time too.

well, i figured since the idea behind the composition was for it to be a studio style shot anyway, and all i did was brighten the background to enhance the white, that this is stuff that could have been done in a darkroom...maybe

i dunno, ive never been one for film photography...so...yeah

Very nice. I like your approach to the border on this one. Also, don't worry about the category thing so much. I'd put this under photography too I'm stuck in the middle of a bit of turmoil on the whole classification thing myself

yeah...and the way they state things...it makes it seem like theyre serious about taking images off for being in the wrong category...but when in the fiz-uck will they see my stuff anyway lol
